Single Board Computer with LS1021A – XMC1021

The AcQ XMC1021 is a Single Board Computer (SBC), it features the new QorIQ® LS1021A dual core communication processor from NXP on an XMC form factor. The NXP LS1021A processor features an ARM® Cortex® A7 dual core at 1GHz.

The main interfaces of the processor are be available on the front bezel and on the rear connectors. The XMC1021 has a customizable FPGA with a number of user I/O pins (data plane), allowing additional support for application specific interfaces or to offload
specialized tasks to the FPGA.

The XMC form factor is according to VITA 42.0 and VITA 42.3 for PCIe communication. The I/O assignments of the rear I/O connector are also in coherence with the VITA 42.0 and VITA 42.3 to enable the use on various types of carriers.
