Through the years AcQ has become a member/partner of several organisations mainly to improve our market position, knowledge, products and quality and be able to offer a better service to our customers and partners. ASHLEY is the acronym for "Avionics Systems Hosted on a distributed modular electronics Large scale dEmonstrator for multiple tYpes of aircraft". The IMA (Integrated Modular Avionics) concept proposes an integrated architecture with application software portable across an assembly of common hardware modules. This architectural approach has been developed in the past 20 years and is now implemented in state-of-the art current commercial aircraft (ﬁrst generation IMA, or IMA1G). The FP7 project ASHLEY will consolidate and build upon work done in EU projects e.g. SCARLETT (SCAlable & ReconﬁgurabLe Electronics plaTforms and Tools), and several related national projects. It will demonstrate the most advanced building blocks available today in a whole aircraft-level platform, and introduce new innovations. ASHLEY will be a valuable asset on the path to IMA2G (Second Generation IMA) for the aircraft of the future. AcQ contributes to the development of several Smart Sensors interfaces and data conversion, this includes both hardware and software development.
ACTUATION2015 (Modular Electro Mechanical Actuators for ACARE 2020 Aircraft and Helicopters) is a collaborative research and development project, gathering 53 partners including the European key players in the aircraft industry. ACTUATION2015 aims to develop and validate a common set of standardised, modular and scalable Electro Mechanical Actuators (EMA) resources for all actuators and all types of aircraft. In the Actuation2015 project, AcQ will apply her expertise in the software implementation and testing of the Usage Monitoring and Anomaly Detection algorithms in the Health Monitoring System.
AFLoNext is a four-year EC L2 project with the objective of proving and maturing highly promising flow control technologies for novel aircraft configurations to achieve a quantum leap in improving aircraft's performance and thus reducing the environmental footprint. The AFLoNext concept is based on six Technology Streams which cluster the targeted technologies and their associated contributions to advanced aircraft performance. AcQ participates in the stream of Hybrid Laminar Flow Control (HLFC) technology applied on fin and wing for friction drag reduction and thus performance increase in cruise conditions. AcQ develops a Health Monitoring System which collects and stores data (during flight) of 200 sensors located in the fin. This data will be analysed on ground later and shall demonstrate one of the objectives.

AcQ is a partner of Green Hills Software (GHS). GHS is a vendor of embedded development solutions and has an operating system certified and deployed to EAL6+ High Robustness (security), DO-178B Level A (avionics), IEC 61508 SIL3 (industrial) and FDA Class III (medical). GHS open architecture integrated development solutions address deeply embedded, absolute security and high-reliability applications for the military/avionics, medical, industrial, automotive, networking, consumer and other markets that demand industry-certified solutions. The products of GHS are a perfect match for AcQs products and markets.
AcQ is a partner of SYSGO. SYSGO provides OS products and software services for the real-time and embedded market. A differentiating capability is the SSV (Safe and Secure Virtualization) platform PikeOS, a paravirtualization RTOS that is built upon a small, fast, and certified microkernel. It supports the co-existence of independent OS personalities on a single platform, including ELinOS, SYSGO's embedded Linux distribution.
