Applications

Over the years, AcQ has partnered with multiple organisations to support and drive pioneering projects and developments.

Our expert knowledge of embedded electronics, and specialist capabilities in developing cutting-edge technologies, has enabled us to deploy creative solutions to ground-breaking advances in aerospace, military, industrial automation, transportation, agriculture and space.

Here’s some of the projects in which we have been involved.

FMB095

To support rapid prototyping of these novel high speed optical networking interfaces, AcQ developed a Xilinx Virtex® Ultrascale™ based FPGA board.

VPX3424
SINGLE BOARD COMPUTER (SBC)

AcQ has developed a range of cutting-edge VPX processor boards based on the NXP T4-series of System-on-Chip (SoC) devices.

MMC

AcQ has developed a highly accurate and reliable measurement and control system (MMC) For a customer involved in the steel manufacturing industry.

Aflonext

This four-year EC L2 project investigated and demonstrated technologies to improve aircraft fuel efficiency, reduce aircraft weight and minimise aircraft noise, achieving a quantum leap in improved performance and a reduced environmental footprint.

Ashley

AcQ was involved in the development of the ASHLEY Fuel System demonstrator. This demonstrator aimed to develop and validate several new technologies for sensing and control related to an aircraft’s fuel pumps and tanks.

Scarlett

The goal of the project was to develop technologies for the next generation of Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA); which are scalable, reconfigurable, fault-tolerant and secure platforms, under the name DME: Distributed Modular Electronics.

Actuation2015

The project aimed to develop and validate a common set of standardised, modular and scalable Electro Mechanical Actuators (EMA) resources for all actuators and all types of aircraft.
