About Us

Our Story

Since our foundation in 1985, AcQ has established a reputation for applying creative solutions to the toughest challenges in embedded systems.

Initially starting out as a systems integrator, we swiftly began to create our own quality products. Since then, we’ve continually strived to improve our offering, applying informed insight and technical excellence to everything we do.

Today, we develop, produce and deliver innovative solutions for a wide range of real-time electronics platforms used in the aerospace, military, industrial automation, transportation, agriculture and space sectors.

We’re able to quickly adapt to changing environments and have the knowhow to deliver complete development projects – from conception to implementation and tailored support – in line with European and International standards, if required.

We also specialize in safety-critical designs, form-fit-function replacements for discontinued products, fast prototyping and long product life cycles.

But we are more than just an embedded electronics supplier. What we do is part of a collaborative effort to develop customized technologies that serve you and your business. Our designers, programmers and engineers work together to develop seamless, cutting-edge technologies made to your specification, giving you the power and flexibility to bring your ideas to life!

Our ‘person-first’ perspective puts you and your users at the core of everything we do.

We also believe there’s a better way to deliver our services, which is why we work alongside an international network of well-established partners, to provide worldwide sales and support.

People often ask us about the painting used in our branding. To underline the creativity of our business, we commissioned prominent Dutch artist, Jan van Lokhorst, to create a piece of art that represents what we do and who we are, to hang in our office. We wanted to capture our philosophy, People Inventing Technology > Creating Systems > Serving People, visually on canvas.

Lokhorst visited our office and labs and spent time with our system architects, design engineers, quality experts, and the rest of the team. Having been immersed in the business, he created the painting, which we hope you agree is a stunning representation of how we place people at the centre of the various technologies we use and develop.

The painting hangs in our office in Oss, The Netherlands, where you’re welcome to visit us anytime.
